Many companies will match your tax deductible donations to the Montevideo Education Foundation. This program can double or even triple donation dollars! The additional money that we can collect from our corporate partners is a great way to boost donation dollars that support our school. Please take a few minutes to see if your company will match your donation. Five minutes of your time doubles your donation - and your impact on our school - at no cost to you! The Montevideo Education Foundation gets another donation and your company gets a tax write-off!
Many employers have timelines in which a match must be requested, so please submit your request as soon as possible. Employees must make their own match requests. The process is not initiated by the Montevideo Education Foundation. If both you and your spouse work, make sure you check with BOTH parents' employers. You may be able to triple your donation!
Simple Steps for Corporate Matching:
Step 1: Make a donation to the Montevideo Education Foundation (i.e., annual registration which is typically at the beginning of the year).
Step 2: If you're not sure if your company matches, visit the Matching Gift Site to see if your company matches employee donations. If it does, click the Matching Gift Form URL link in the results to go directly to your matching system or to access the form on your company's intranet.
Step 3: Retrieve your registration or donation receipt. You should have received an email with your receipt attached at the time of purchase. If you can no longer locate your receipt, please email our Corporate Match Chair at montevideo.edfundmatching@srvef.org to ask for a copy
Step 4: Submit a match for each tax deductible donation. IMPORTANT: IF APPLICABLE, BE SURE TO SUBMIT SEPARATE MATCH REQUESTS FOR PAYMENTS TO ED FUND, PTA, AND THE SCHOOL ITSELF AS EACH HAS A DIFFERENT TAX ID.

*Please note that in some HR systems, the Montevideo Education Foundation tax ID may show up with the name "San Ramon Valley Education Foundation" or "SRVEF". This is because the Montevideo Education Foundation is an affiliate of San Ramon Valley Education Foundation (SRVEF). If this is the case, please verify that the address is 13000 Broadmoor Dr, San Ramon, CA 94583, and then continue to submit your match. If the address is not correct, please contact our Corporate Match Chair at montevideo.edfundmatching@srvef.org before submitting your match. If submitting a match to the incorrect address is your only option, please incude "For Montevideo Education Foundation" in the notes or comments section. This will help route your match to our school.
