What is the Montevideo Education Foundation (Mustang Fund)?
The Mustang Fund, an affiliate of the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation (SRVEF), is a nonprofit organization led by volunteer parents and school staff. We provide essential financial support to Montevideo Elementary School, helping bridge the gap between public funding and the programs, services, and resources our students need to thrive.
Our goal is to ensure that every Montevideo student has access to a high-quality education and opportunities for success. We make this possible through tax-deductible donations made during registration and through fundraising efforts throughout the school year.
100% of Your Donations Benefit Our Students
Your support helps fund programs and services that directly impact our students, including:
- In-Class Paraeducators – Help reduce the teacher-to-student ratio and provide small-group and 1:1 instruction.
- Math & Reading Instructional Assistants – Provide supplemental math and reading support to students.
- Extra Library Hours – Ensure our younger students in grades K–3 have the opportunity to visit the library each week.
- Rainbow Room Program – Increased hours provide greater access to social-emotional and leadership skill development and support.
- Health Clerk & Front Office Support – Help provide essential support for the health and day-to-day needs of our students and school community.
Our 2026–2027 Registration Goal
Our goal is to raise $80,000 during registration for the 2026–2027 school year.
We suggest a tax-deductible donation of $400 per student or $600 per family with more than one student, which can be made as a one-time payment or through installments. We understand that this is a significant request, so please consider contributing whatever amount you are comfortable giving.
