What is the Montevideo Education Foundation (Mustang Fund)?
The Mustang Fund, an affiliate of San Ramon Valley Education Foundation (SRVEF), is a non-profit organization run by volunteer parents and school staff. We provide crucial financial support to Montevideo Elementary School, bridging the gap between government funding and the services that our students need. Our goal is to ensure that every student has access to high-quality education and opportunities for success. We accomplish this through tax-deductible donations made during registration time and various fundraising efforts throughout the school year.
100% of all the money received directly benefits our students. Your donations help fund:
- In-class paraeducators help reduce the teacher-to-student ratio and facilitate small groups and 1:1 instruction.
- Math and Reading Instructional Assistants provide supplemental reading and math support to all students.
- Extra library hours ensures our younger students (K-3) can visit the library each week.
- Increase hours for our Rainbow Room Program ensures greater access for our students seeking support in social, emotional, and leadership skill development
- Noon Duty Supervisor covers inside lunch and outside recess to ensure the safety of all of our students
Our goal for the 2024-2025 registration is $70,000. We suggest a tax-deductible donation of $400 per child, which can be made as a one-time payment or in installlments.
